My first visit experience this week was excellent. I like the curbside wait, so you're not sitting around in the waiting area with other animals although the waiting area is spacious, divided into two areas, plenty of seating, a comfortable and calm environment. Kelly and Brittney at reception were knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Our Shih Tzu, Angus, began limping a couple days before, keeping his front left paw tucked, and was getting lethargic. Dr. Valese is exceptional. He has a notably calm demeanor, and Angus had no issue with a thorough physical exam. Dr. Valese then said "his paw is fine, it's a neurologic issue" and pointed along the upper right part of the spine. He proposed xray and bloodwork, and that I leave Angus for a couple hours until he had results. He called with diagnosis of most likely ruptured disc, since the xray and bloodwork were fine. Prescribed a mild sedative and anti-inflammatory, and rest. 3 days in and Angus is much improved, and we are so happy. I found prices to be comparable or less than our primary vet in Bucks County (we are new to Lake Naomi). The staff also quoted pricing every step of the way, from cost of the initial assessment thru each diagnostic procedure. They did this proactively without me having to ask. We will be relocating here full time in a couple years, and we can now add Dr Valese and Mt Pocono Animal Hospital to our list of trusted service providers.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with pet lodging and the staff were amazing. We were visiting from out of town, and I saw they did pet boarding. The process was fairly easy and they answered any questions I had. My mini golden doodle was well taken care of and even given a bath. They treated him like part of the family! I was very pleased with the recommendations of treatment at home which have encouraged Sasha to just about be back to himself. Brittany was very helpful and patient with my questions. The office environment is extremely pleasant as well!
