This was the first time taking my cat to the Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono. Maddy walked me through the check in process, there were so many questions but she was very helpful getting me through it. The staff was friendly and did an excellent job. My cat needed her nails trimmed, something I know I couldnt do and she needed a rabies shot. Very important to have your pet get that. I've had dogs in this area for the last ten years, and this is the best vet experience I have ever had! Dr. Joseph Valese is extremely knowledgeable. The intake folks were fantastic. Kelly helped me to find the perfect pet wellness plan for my two shiba inus. Maddie sat with me and helped to determine the care needed. This vet clinic really loves their clients! i take my senior 13 year old mini dachsund Ryder for check ups and things like, labs, blood work, etc. they’ve given her everything she needs! My 2 year old chihuahua Penny is also a patient and they treat her kindly every time we go in. they ask important questions like if you have a specific budget they can work with or not before putting you down for a procedure. waiting in the car is also a bonus since my chihuahua’s big personality keeps her from enjoying the presence of other dog friends. 5/5 experience, there’s nobody else i trust with my fur babies.

My dog has developed a rapid growing Lipoma on her chest which I went to Dr. Valese to analyze and advise me on what to do.  The girls on the reception desk, Kelly and Hope, as well as Dr. Valese, could not have been more helpful and informative in guiding me and advising me on costing and timing in order to perform an operation to remove this fatty tumor.

Dr. Valese was very patient, kind, helpful.   He is a wonderful veterinarian who I wholly trust to care for my fur baby.

We always have experienced such exceptional furbaby care at AHMP.  Have been bringing our pets there since 1998!  The doctor is extremely knowlegeable and thorough & the staff is wonderful. Another plus is that the facility is immaculate - no pet fur tumbleweeds, no dirty-dog smells!!!
