COVID-19: Temporary Changes to Policies and Hours

March 24 2020

We wanted to take the time to update all our clients about some important changes here at Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono. Our goal is to limit the impact of COVID-19 while remaining OPEN to serve the community. We are taking steps to improve safety for everyone during these difficult times. We will continue to help sick or injured pets, and those in pressing need of health care. We are postponing healthy well pet visits for the time being. Our front door is locked but we are here. We are dramatically limiting the number of people in our facility at any one time. We want to protect both the health of our staff and our clients as best as possible while still being available to assist you with your pet care needs.

What does this mean?

  • Concierge Service for clients: dropoff and pickup. Please call when you arrive.
  • Consultation and discussion of treatment options via phone
  • Payment via phone
  • We are sanitizing thoroughly between every visitor. We have hand sanitizer for you to use before and after each visit. We hope these added biosecurity efforts will help protect everyone.

Our clinic will remain OPEN but we have a temporary change in hours:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday: Open in the morning only
  • Closed Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
  • We are currently seeing sick or injured pets and those in pressing need of health care

How do I pick up my Prescriptions and Pet Food Refills?

  • Call us to order prescription refills and pet food and we will deliver to your vehicle in our parking lot.

We appreciate all of your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Take care,

The Careteam at Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono
