Fluffy's Cutest Resolutions

January 1 2021

Happy New Year! As we leave 2020 behind and move forward into 2021, many people are focusing on their personal priorities for the coming year. Your feline pal may also have a few things to scratch off her to-do list for 2021! A local Mt. Pocono, PA vet lists some of Fluffy’s resolutions below.

Get More Flexible

Kitties are very lithe and flexible. Fluffy may try to master the difficult Pretzel position this year. Or, she may just stretch a bit more!

Proper Fur Distribution

Our feline pals have very pretty fur, and they’re quite polite about sharing it with us. Fluffy may try to ensure that she distributes her cat hair more evenly this year. How sweet of her!

Purrfect The Pounce

Fluffy may look innocent, but she has the instincts of a lion. It’s completely natural for your kitty to want to jump and pounce on things. Help your pet make this goal by getting her lots of toys.

Train The Human

Does Fluffy have you trained to pet her or pick her up on demand? Do you fill her bowl whenever she meows at you? If not, Fluffy may plan to finish training you!

Improve Sprinting Speed

It’s probably safe to say that at some point this year, Fluffy will race through the house at top kitty speed, for no apparent reason. Your furball may want to improve her hallway sprint times this year!

Master Teleportation Skills

Have you ever sworn that your cat was in one spot, only to find her somewhere else? We can’t be sure, but we suspect Fluffy may have figured out how to use wormholes.

World Domination

Cats may be small, but they have big goals. This one may sound far-fetched, but keep in mind that Fluffy did manage to convince the ancient Egyptians to treat her as a furry, four-legged deity. She’s also taken over a pretty good chunk of the internet!

Take More Naps

Did you know that by the time Fluffy is a senior, she’ll sleep as much as 20 hours a day? It takes a lot of practice to be able to sleep that much. Offer your kitty lots of beds to help her make this goal.

As your Mt. Pocono, PA veterinary clinic, we look forward to helping you keep your pet healthy in 2021 and for years to come. Contact us anytime!
